NPR Music: First Watch premieres Maya Beiser's "Air"

NPR Music: First Watch premieres Maya's first video for her upcoming album TranceClassical, out July 29 on Innova Recordings. In Bach's Air, Maya plays with the concepts of time and memory as two dancers move to her arrangement of the second movement from Bach's Orchestral Suite No. 2. NPR writes, "She turns the clock back to her childhood — to the days of snuggling with a blanket on the sofa, hearing Bach's music for the first time off a scratchy old LP... In the midst of all the new music that Beiser commissions and performs, Bach, she says, is her 'artistic mooring.'"
